Yavin IV (4)
Well, since we all broke and went our separate ways, I figured I would not waste my opportunity to POI hunt Yavin 4 while I am here. I know this is a tough planet and that I should be buffed before going and doing this... but...oh well. I will just have to be extra careful.
Lone-wolfing yet again. I am starting to get used to it.
Yavin 4 is a tropical forest planet... almost jungle. Sometimes VERY jungle. It can be hot and steaming and buggy at times... and is full of viscious creatures and plants. DAMN... the damned vegetation is so huge and think it hides whole boulders and tree-stumps. I crashed so many times into things. I am so going to need to repaint my poor speeder. You just cannot see a damnable thing riding through the jungle.
I went to the Massassi Temple. This palce has all kinds of temples. I hope to get a better idea of a temple for when I build one. OH... hmmm... I won't be building any like these. It is a giant stone structure. Imperial HAVEN! There are Imperial troops and camps about. Inside, the temple is practically devoid of decor. Stoic and gray. Chill. It feeling like something sucks the very essence out of you in here. Ug. Inside were a few Imperial officers. But since I am neutral with no faction standing whatsoever, they would not speak to me. They were rude and ordered me to leave and come back when I was a loyal subject of the Empire. As I left... I saw a curious thing... there were many mercenaries camped around the temple too. I wonder why?
Travel advice of Yavin 4 visitors: fly over the waters... you get attacked less. REALLY!
Next stop: the BlueLeaf Temple. I wondered if it looked anything like the painting I have of the BlueLeaf Temple. My painting shows a ziggurat-like stone structure, hidden in the depths of jungle-covered mountains, with luch vegetation growing up and over the stonework. It looks like such a mystical place. Well... The real Tample is NOT like the painting. Same structure, but not in mountains. And it was very cleaned up, with no overgrown vegetation. There was a strong sense of life in this temple... as well as danger. I wanted to go in and explore. But as I grabbed up my exploration badge, I discovered the temple full of sentient kliknik warriors. I did not want to disturb them and more than I had. They seemed very angry by my presense. I was at risk of desacrating their gorunds. So, I left them in peace (and I am sure that saved my life).
Last stop here: Woolemander Palace. This abandoned place looked like a temple too. It had incredible architecture and statues of woolemanders. It was outstanding! I took some photos. (DAMN... need to figure out this photo gallery thing). There were more locked magseal boxes and one on an altar-like central structure in the palace. I did some research via my datapad. But the best I could find out was the these kinds of containers open on a timer. Great... I could wait 10 minutes or 10 000 years. Nevermind. I won't bother waiting. I can't open it now, thus I was not meant to see what was inside. So be it.
