Event coming up?
Name of Event: CoE Western Hoedown Hootenanny
In-game Contact: Anif
Location: Darklighter Estate (in the POIs)
Date: Sunday, November 7Time: 8pm EST/5pm PST Convert to Local Time
Purpose of Event: Meet up in front of Bestine starport. Come a little earlier than 8pm EST if you can. We will be racing by creature mount to the darklighter estate. Winner gets 20K. At the darklighter estate CoE will be hosting a Western Hoedown Hootenanny. What does this mean? As people know, the new song that's out is called 'Western'. CoE will have a mini-performance showcasing the new song as well as the new dance (along with Country Western lyrics tweaked to a SWG theme). After this everyone will be asked to participate in good 'ol fashioned line-dancing! Anyone with AT LEAST NOVICE ENTERTAINER can participate! (we'll be doing basic) Come down and join in the fun! For those who missed it, I won the CoE Artistic Music Contest singing lyrics i wrote called "Why...?" using the Western song. At the end of the event I will be performing this again. As well, there will be a 20K prize given out to the person with the best Western-themed outfit. And if that's not enough incentive to come... EVERYTIME I yell "YEE!" the first person to yell "HAW!" afterwards will win 1K!
